Hp Elitepad 900 Drivers Windows 10: Everything You Need to Know About Updating Your Tablet's Softwar

I new here, just like to check that is elitepad 900 G1 able to upgrade to windows 10?? so far i don't see any post about it, hope to see more post. Also i don't see any ElitePad driver from HP web site for windows 10.

I have installed the 32-bit version of Windows 10 Enterprise on my HP ElitePad 900 G1 yesterday evening. I installed the drivers which are intended for the 32-bit version of Windows 8.1. All hardware is recognized now. I have not encountered any hardware issue, for example the touch screen is working fine.

When you wish to show all icons in the taskbar, you will shortly see the following screen afterwhich the window crashes and disappears. I have had various open windows disappear on me and they are really closed then, not hidden from view for example, the process is terminated. After a few updates where installed via Windows Update, the screen below at least no longer crashed.

Some other windows had graphical issues too, such as the Settings window. I have had the below issue happen to me twice already, where the lower part of the window is black. The blue outline shows nicely, it is only in the window itself. Also, the rest of the desktop was not affected. The window itself behaved normally though. I could scroll down, click items, but whatever I did, the lower part of the windows remained black.

The only issue I currently experienced is a missing driver for QC Atheros Bluetooth. The device is not "powering on" according to the message in the Device Management list. I downloaded the latest AR3002 Bluetooth 4.0+HS driver (still 8.1, W10 drivers are all greyed out) from the Atheros website and will try to install that tonight.

I upgraded my Elitepad 900 to Windows 10 also. At first I was discouraged because after making me wait from reserving the download, it told me I wasn't able to upgrade because of the graphics driver. I decided to force the upgrade anyway to see for myself. I downloaded the file found on this page -us/software-download/windows10ISO for 32 bit, and chose upgrade.

I have been running Windows 10 for a few days now with no problems whatsoever. I even think it makes Windows 8.1 seem sluggish compared to how the tablet performs overall now. It's a definite improvement! Glad I did it. Here's the link I used to get all the latest drivers and BIOS. It took care of the thermal driver and some others as well. =5328403&swItemId=ob_150288_1&swEn... Opens a new window.

This package contains the drivers necessary for Microsoft Windows operating system deployment for supported HP notebook models. This package provides the drivers for the integrated and select add-in devices in an .INF format. This format is compatible with bare-metal operating system deployment tools that require .INF based drivers.

I tried it on my Elitepad 900 and it is somewhat functional. The main issue I ran into was that buttons wouldn't render properly, something I didn't really notice until I tried to change Cortana's settings. I ended up reverting my Elitepad back to 8.1 instead of waiting for updated drivers that may or may not come.

The lack of any messages from HP on this model anywhere leads me to believe the drivers won't be coming. Very disappointed in HP once again. Goes right along with the lack of upgradeability of InkJet printers bought new with Win 7, Don't have a Win 8.1 or Win 10 driver. What's up with that?

When I received my ElitePad 900 (I won it here on SW!) it was running Win8, not Win8.1. After receiving Win8.1 on a USB drive I was finally able to upgrade because it had all the right drivers. When I initially upgraded to the free Win10 release there were many drivers that were not working correctly. Thankfully the WiFi was. I proceeded to install all the newest Win10 upgrades with no issues, one of the later upgrades included the new Atom processor support, which was fantastic. I've not had to upload any special drivers, Windows 10 just recognizes my hardware and auto-upgrades. The only issue I'm having, very occasionally is the ElitePad not recognizing my Productivity Sleeve (with build-in Keyboard), telling me it was incompatible.

Large hardware vendors like Hewlett-Packard and DELL have great support for drivers and driver packs suitable for enterprise client distribution methods like System Center Configuration Manager or Microsoft Deployment Toolkit.

Because the HP ElitePad 900 also has touchpad (which actually works in WinPE IF you embed this into the boot image) drivers and other specific drivers, I targeted these drivers specifically in a separate folder.

Alternatively, do you know that there's a specific older driver version that will work but cannot get to it through a rollback? If so, within the Driver tab, select Uninstall instead and then follow the method in the previous above to update your drivers. 2ff7e9595c
